In June, 2021, Design Core hosted members of the LOVE Building team on their Detroit City of Design Podcast. In this episode, Dessa Cosma, Executive Director of Detroit Disability Power, Jeanette Lee, then Co-Executive Director of Allied Media Projects, and Saundra Little, Principal and DEI Director of Quinn Evans Architects sat down with Design Core’s Olga Stella to explore the question, “What does it mean to make a place truly accessible?”

The conversation offers a glimpse into the complex, collaborative process the LOVE Building has undergone, in order to design a space that goes beyond ADA regulations to embody a fuller understanding of accessibility.
